This exciting training will introduce play therapy to therapists through experiential exercises, lecture, and discussion. You will examine some of the basic principles of play therapy and identify ways to begin
implementing these interventions in any setting with most populations.
Through your participation in this workshop, you will be able to:
- Define play therapy and explain why it is an effective intervention with children
- Gain an understanding of the different types of play therapy
- Demonstrate how to track children’s play
