Since 2009, Positive Impact has volunteered to staff the Stone Mountain pit stop, which is the first stop on Saturday of the 200 mile bike ride. The Stone Mountain portion of the AV200 can prove challenging for the AV200 riders, with several miles of turns. While the primary purpose of the volunteers at the Stone Mountain pit stop is to provide support (snacks, drinks, laughter, encouragement) at the Stone Mountain Visitors Center, teams of two volunteers will be stationed throughout the route within Stone Mountain to provide directional guidance to riders.
Volunteering with Positive Impact for the Stone Mountain pit stop of the AIDS Vaccine 200 is fun and memorable! Come be a part of the experience, and be a part of the search for a cure to HIV.
